We can use ‘too’ to say when something is excessive or not enough.
My dad is too old to go to school.

The homework is too difficult – I can’t do it.
Be careful!
We use ‘too’ for negative situations. Use ‘very’ for positive situations.
It was too hot on holiday – I didn’t like it.
It was very hot on holiday – I liked it!

I’m too tired to play any more games. (NOT I’m so tired to play any more games.)
You’re too late, the film has finished. (NOT You’re to late, the film has finished.)
